Saiyami’s grandmother is veteran Bollywood actress Usha Kiran, she is the niece of famous Bollywood actresses Tanvi Azmi and Shabana Azmi.
Sharing her childhood memories in an interview, Saiyami said, “My parents moved to Nashik and we grew up there. We were not allowed to watch movies until class 10. When we grew up a bit, we joined our parents and helped them in “Three Restaurants”.
She has played badminton in the junior national tournament with famous badminton player Saina Nehwal.
Saiyami’s first photograph was seen by Atul Kasbekar, after which she started her modelling career.
Saiyami also conducted other workshops with renowned theatre artist Nadira Babbar.
In 2012, she started working as a model for the “Kingfisher Calendar”.
Saiyami has appeared in advertisements for Levis, Pantaloons, L’Oreal and Idea Eyewear. She did an advertisement for Image Eyewear with Saif Ali Khan.
She has been the cover girl of “Z Magazine” twice.
In an interview, when she was asked about her first film, she said that for the first time I was approached for a role in a family function. Zoya wanted me to work in Luck Bye. When I was in 9th class, I did not agree with this idea at all.
