Controversy and facts
- In May 2021, Yuvika Chaudhary shared a video on social media, in which she used abusive words regarding casteism. This video got trolled a lot on social media and is also trending on Twitter.
- Bigg Boss 9 contestant Yuvika had shared a video on social media regarding casteism. After this video, a case was registered against her under SC/ST Act 1989.
- Haryana Police had registered a case against the girl in May.
- Dalit activist Rajat Kalsar had filed a complaint against him and accused him of speaking against the Scheduled Castes and making objectionable remarks.
- Yuvika had also used the slur “bhangi” to describe her husband Prince Narula’s look while making a video of him. Yuvika later apologised and took to Instagram to apologise. She wrote on her Instagram, “Hi guys, I didn’t know what the words I used in the last vlog meant. I never intended to offend anyone and I would never do anything to offend anyone. I apologise to everyone, I hope you can understand, love you all.”
